Water: Keep soil moist until established

Prune: Please do not commit crape murder! Selectively prune each branch back just enough to encourage additional branching and shape. Not wanting to grow a tree? You can trim your crape down to 4" every winter to help maintain a shorter height each spring.

Plant Food: Apply slow release once per year in early spring

Mulch: Keep a layer of mulch around the base of the plant year-round to conserve water and reduce weeds

Ideas for Use: Specifically bred for its compact and dwarf habit, Cherry Marquis is a great option for gardeners who do not have the space for a tall growing tree.
